Keynote Speaker-1: Professor Bekim Fetaji

Bekim Fetaji is Full Professor of Informatics (Computer Sciences). He works at Mother Teresa University (MTU) – Skopje, North Macedonia. He is Vice Rector for Science & Research at MTU since 2017. Former head of Research group in Programming and software Engineering. Previously Dean of Faculty of Informatics at UMT (2016-2018) and Dean of Computer Science Faculty (2008-2012) and before that vice-dean for academic issues in computer Sciences (2005-2008) at South East European University. He was the Vice President of Macedonian Board of Accreditation of Higher Education in Macedonia.

Received his PhD in Computer Sciences at the Faculty of Computer Sciences in Graz University of Technology in with the dissertation thesis “E-learning indicators- a multidimensional model for designing and developing e-learning software solutions”. He received his Master Degree from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, England UK. He served as Visiting Professor in Staffordshire University UK, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Engineering, Japan, Polytechnic University, Tirana, Albania, University of Novi Pazar, Serbia and other Universities. He has taught in these Universities in English, Albanian, Macedonian and Serbian language.

Participated in several project within different programs such as Tempus, Erasmus and other national and international research projects. Published more than 140 scientific papers in international conferences most of them in IEEE and ACM and more than 30 international journals, some of them with ISI Web of Science impact factor.

Published 7 (seven) academic textbooks and 2 (two) books in English that can be found online at Amazon.

Main research interest and published work is in enhanced technology education, virtual learning environments, software engineering, and lately data science with machine learning, and closely related fields.


 
 

 
 
Keynote Speaker-2: Anastasiya Luzgina

Anastasiya Luzgina (Associate Professor, PhD in Economics) has work experience at the Belarusian State University, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and the IMF Resident Representative office in Minsk. Since 2010, she has been working at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC).

In 2015, Anastasiya took a part in the BOFIT ( Research Center of the Central Bank of Finland) Visiting Researchers Program. She also successfully completed Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program (USA, 2018). In 2016 and 2018-2019 Anastasiya attended IMF/WB Spring Meetings in Washington DC.

Anastasiya Luzgina is the author of practice-oriented and research papers in such fields like monetary policy, FinTech, E-Government, cryptocurrencies, social entrepreneurship, currency integration and green finance. She was involved in FinTech Map and FinTech Ecosystem Report of Belarus development as well as participated in StartupHeart mentor program in 2020.


 
 

 
 
Keynote Speaker-3: Dimitrios A. Karras

Dimitrios A. Karras received his Diploma and M.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in 1985 and the Ph. Degree in Electrical Engineering, from the NTUA, Greece in 1995, with honors. From 1990 and up to 2004 he collaborated as visiting professor and researcher with several universities and research institutes in Greece. Since 2004, after his election, he has been with the Sterea Hellas Institute of Technology, Automation Dept., Greece as associate professor in Digital Systems and Signal Processing, till 12/2018, as well as with the Hellenic Open University, Dept. Informatics as a visiting professor in Communication Systems (the latter since 2002 and up to 2010). Since 1/2019 is Associate Prof. in Digital and Intelligent Systems, Signal Processing, in National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, School of Science, Dept. General as well as adjunct Assoc. Prof. Dr. with the EPOKA university (2018-2020), Computer Engineering Dept., Tirana and Arden Univ. UK (2021- ). He has published more than 70 research refereed journal papers in various areas of intelligent and distributed/multiagent systems, pattern recognition, image/signal processing and neural networks as well as in bioinformatics and more than 185 research papers in International refereed scientific Conferences. His research interests span the fields of intelligent and distributed systems, multiagent systems, pattern recognition and computational intelligence, image and signal processing and systems, biomedical systems, communications and networking as well as security. He has served as program committee member as well as program chair and general chair in several international workshops and conferences in the fields of signal, image, communication and automation systems. He is, also, former editor in chief (2008-2016) of the International Journal in Signal and Imaging Systems Engineering (IJSISE), academic editor in the TWSJ, ISRN Communications and the Applied Mathematics Hindawi journals as well as associate editor in various scientific journals, including CAAI, IET. He has been cited in more than 2390 research papers, his H/G-indices are 20/48 (Google Scholar) and his Erdos number is 5. His RG score is 31.42.


 
 

 
 
Keynote Speaker-4: Marc Pilkington

Marc Pilkington is currently Associate Professor of Business Administration and Dean of The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Epoka University, Albania. He was formerly Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Burgundy, France. Marc is associate editor-in-chief of Journal of British Blockchain Association and Fellow of the British Blockchain Association. He is one of the founding members of Centre for Evidence-Based Blockchain (CEBB) and Blockchain Associations Forum (BAF). His interests are currently in blockchain technology, Fintech, monetary theory and post-soviet countries. He has authored around 30 papers in international journals, chapters in edited books, and a Routledge monograph on the new monetary consensus and a book on Indo-French Partnerships in higher education published by Palgrave Macmillan in the UK.
